The ANVILOY® brand stands for a product group of tungsten-based heavy-metal alloys. The materials have a very high specific density. The high density is often used in the form of weights for vibration damping or balancing. The associated high absorption cross section also shields indirectly against ionising radiation in measuring devices or in radiation protection. ANVILOY® alloys are also very resistant to temperature and corrosion and provide good electrical and thermal conductivity at the same time. These properties are utilised especially in high-temperature applications, welding applications and light-metal casting processes. Because of its very high stiffness, it is well-suited to the damping of vibrations – in precision tools for example.
TUCOMET® is the youngest member of the WELDSTONE brand family and stands for a wide range of tungsten-copper products. TUCOMET® products are characterised by high quality, reliability and impressive performance. These properties are ensured by the production process specially developed by WELDSTONE. The products include electrodes for resistor welding erosion or plasma spraying as well as contacts and heat sinks. The combination of the materials tungsten and copper also results in a combination of their properties. The new materials therefore have the hardness and temperature stability of tungsten but also the thermal and electrical conductivities of copper. These materials can be machined without any problem.
E3® TIG-electrodes have been exclusively developed by a team of welding engineers of ABICOR BINZEL in cooperation with WELDSTONE metallurgical experts and production engineers. For some time already E3® electrodes substitute the formerly popular radioactive WT20 TIG-electrodes in the welding departments of leading companies. E3® TIG-electrodes are not only radiation free and environmentally friendly but also show superior performance compared to all other electrodes available today. E3® electrodes are trend-setters regarding safety and reliability and will influence the TIG-welding world significantly in the future.
