Right to data portability

4. Data collection on our website

 

Cookies

The internet pages use, in part, so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause damage to your computer and contain no viruses. A merging of these data with other data sources is not performed.

Basis for the data processing is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which allows the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contract measures.

 

Contact form

If you send us queries via contact form, your details from the form, including contact data given by you for the purpose of processing the query and for the case where further questions are stated, are stored by us. We do not pass on these data without your consent.

The processing of the data given in the contact form therefore takes place solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. It is sufficient to send us an informal notification by e-mail. The legality of the data processing operations up to the point of the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data given by you in the contact form remain with us until you request us to delete these; you revoke your consent for storing or the reason for the data storage lapses (e.g. after completing the processing of your query). Mandatory legal regulations – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.

 

5. Analytics and advertising

 

Matomo (formerly Piwik)

This website uses Matomo, the Open Source web analysis service. Matomo uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of website use by you. The information produced by the Cookie on the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before the storage.

Matomo cookies remain on your end device till you delete them.

The storage of Matomo cookies takes place on the basis of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. The website owner/operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymous analysis of user behaviour, in order to optimise both his Web content and his advertising.

The information produced by the Cookie about the use of this website is not passed on to third parties. You can prevent the storage of cookies by an appropriate setting in your browser software; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data, you can deactivate the storage and use at this point. In this case, an opt-out-cookie is stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo storing usage data. When you delete your cookies, the Matomo opt-out-cookie is also deleted. The opt-out must be activated again when our site is revisited.

 

Use of Matomo

On this website, data are collected and stored by the use of the web analysis service software Matomo (www.matomo.org), a service from the supplier InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, (“Matomo”) on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Pseudonymised user profiles can be generated and evaluated from these data for the same purpose. Cookies can be used for this. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the buffer memory of the page visitor’s internet browser. The cookies enable, amongst other things, the recognition of the internet browser. The data collected using Matomo technology (including their pseudonomised IP address) are processed on our servers.

The information in the pseudonomised user profile is not used to personally identify the visitor of this website and not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you do not agree to the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, you can object to this storage and use at the click of a mouse at any time. In this case, a so-called opt-out-cookie is stored in your browser, which prevents Matomo collecting any session data. Please note that the complete deletion of your cookies results also in the deletion of the opt-out-cookie and must be reactivated by you, if necessary.
